On my oak tree I found the strangest looking pink flowery looking things. Have you ever seen this before?

This leaf is on the sidewalk. Do the leaves in the tree also have these *things* as well?

Well if nobody here can identify this whchamacallit you might phone the county ag extension agent and ask. Maybe even take in a sample. Tightly wrapped mind you.

I have used the services of the country ag extension agents in several different states--including California--in the past, and have found them to be extremely helpful. Good people.

County Ag Extension? Never heard of that, will see if I can come up with a number. I have a sample in a bottle. I was thinking of taking it to a nursery tomorrow.
