I've been away since Friday. Saw two at my flowers this morning but haven't seen any at the feeders yet. We're in for some cold temps and possible snow this weekend so if they are smart... and I know they are.

Foggy and drizzly - low of 34 degrees this morning. Covered my potted flowers last night in case of a freeze. Saw one hummingbird at the feeder <3

I haven't seen any hummingbirds in 5 days. Feeders are still up and being filled with fresh nectar, but I know the reality.... Gosh, I miss them already!

They're still passing thru here. Usually by the first week of October it's all said and done.

Interesting that you are still seeing them on LI, but I am not seeing them here in southern NJ. I am also worried about their winter habitat, with all the hurricanes we've had. I hope the little jewels will be OK so that I can see them again next year!

I have several at my feeders here, in Dixie. Our butterfly/hummingbird garden is also frequented by the hummers.

We still have some females here every day. Haven't seen any males for the last couple of weeks or so.

Didn't see any but heard them so they're here still, but I'm in the Southwest. Sunny.

BTW, the Butterflies have been amazing in quantity, size and variation of species for the last week! What's up? They're huge. Gorgeous. I've never seen it like this so they must be passing through to Mexico? At least the Monarchs, but the variation is astounding.

Not a one. I believe all of mine have left. Still hoping to get a traveler or two.
