It's been in the high 60's the past few days, forecast is for 70 the next 5 days or so. My garden is almost not frozen and ready to get the tiller out. Looking forward to Memorial Day to plant my veggies.

Well we are finally getting some spring weather, even rain, which we need. I can't get out now until the end of the week; we have our family for the Easter weekend and then our son, from Florida will be here, visiting. In fact I might have him help us with the top soil, if,by some chance I can get out and finish weeding by Monday.

The weather here in FL has been nuts, I actually had to put frost blankets on the tomatoes, green beans and peas last week!

I do all vegetable square foot gardening. I'm in my last year (hopefully) of renting, and this year after a move that involved my having to pull up everything in my garden and losing all my Mel's Mix, I'm doing a smaller-scale version of my SFG from previous years. I think I'll end up with about 3 square feet of vegetables and herbs rather than the 8 + I had last year.

Well the rain has stopped and our temps are actually in the 50s today. I am going to try and finish the weeding this Sat, buy our soil on Sunday and hopefully next week get the planting started.

I guess God decided to save me::: I got back from setting up the altar and then going to the liquor store (no, not for communion wine) and the sun was shining. See God knows I did Altar Guild this AM. I was able to get most of the dirt turned, a lot of weeds up and now, just a few more hours or maybe less, I will put down the compost ( garbage) and be ready to add the top soil. so, by this time next week the garden should be in...happy Spring!!!!

See you were faithful and He provided. Think I'm doing either a raised bed or container tomatoes this year.
