Quick vacation question... (growing, containers, peppers, greenhouse)

I will be gone for the weekend and currently have some immature peppers growing on my balcony. I'll give them a good watering before I leave tonight... think they will be ok until Sunday evening (so about 48 hours)? Or should I have a friend stop by and water them?

this is my first attempt at growing anything so I don't want to kill these guys!!!

Do your pots have holes on the bottom? Mine are still really small, in styrofoam cups that have slits on the bottom. I was gone for four days and poured water into the container under them. They were able to draw what they needed. Some other seeds that had just started to pop up died under the little greenhouse they were in and the dirt was too dry. They were in shallow planters and shallow dirt so any more water would have drowned them but everything else was ok.

I think it also depends on how much sun they will get. I have smaller containers that get full sun, and they can dry out in hours... and others that are full shade, and they will stay damp/wet for days.

if you are concerned they may dry out... have someone stop by Sat afternoon -- that would be about the half way point.
