Hey guys! We just moved to N. Alabama and are looking to find a good lawn service. I have two that are supposed to come out and give me estimates, but haven't seen them yet - hopefully soon.

My ques is does anyone have a general idea of what would be a fair price? It is probably 0.65 acre, no real flowers, no fencing - would want the paved driveway and walkway edged. Have a "flower bed" down the front of the house, but is filled more with ever green type plants - would just need trimming up and weed eating around etc. This house is less than 5 years old, and we have more weeds than grass, so I would like someone to add seed or whatever to help us have a nice green lawn.

I know there are many variables, but if anyone has a "general" idea of what a fair price would be, I would appreciate it. (I have no clue about it, and am physically unable to do it myself now.)

Thanks for any info!

50 or 60 bucks.

that's how much something like that would cost around here.

About the same for me here in TN, $50 for 1/2 acre with a fairly steep slope and terraced back yard. When I moved in I asked the neighbors, they recommended the guy I use now.
