We bought some really pretty lillies to try out front, with big flowers and big buds too, and after a couple weeks, they're in sad shape. The rabbits are helping themselves. It even looks like they're chomping on the stalks/stems. This is happening with the other (less expensive) flowers too, petunias, impatiens, etc.
I sprinkled pepper flakes, but I don't know if it helped, and someone said to spray them with diluted dish soap. I also just read about putting mason jars throughout the area, about 3 ft apart. Also, blood meal was mentioned. Have to look that one up, though, don't know what it is.
Will they recover from this? They look alive, just...ravaged.
Can anyone vouch for any of these strategies? Thanks for any suggestions.

i actually have an interest in the answers to these questions, because my wife and i were looking at lillies to plant along the deck today, and we have a lot of rabbits in the area....
