Beautiful!
I want some roses for my yard, but I'm still undecided on the type...there are so many!

Some people go for antique. I prefer modern roses because of the blooms. They take more care but that is part of the fun.
Roses need us and we need roses.

Great pics, you look like you are in a warm zone - you have them in pots. Hybrid teas do better there. They are a struggle here in zone 5. Are you spraying? I use rose-tone and find it works well.

Yea, I'm down here in 8b, 9 zone in Seguin, TX near San Antonio. The hybrid teas are doing fine, but I do spray with a 3 and 1 mixture. I have about 10 planted and the rest are in light colored containers. I don't own the house, so this way I can take them with me if I move.

My neighbors grows vegetables and the farmer behind me has goats and grows hay. Another neighbor raises horses and a neighbor two doors down has ducks, chickens, peacocks, and guinea hens.

Just wanted to show off my Marilyn Monroe. She grew up in Oregon and has been transplanted to Texas. She was in a lot of stress last month and lost most of her leaves but now they have come back nicely:

I'm growing a knockout rose in a pot this year to replace a rose from my corner flower bed. To my dismay the beautiful grandflora I had in position in the low corner of my yard survived the winter but could not abide the wet conditions of spring. Pots offer a great deal of flexibility and I'm hoping the pot will protect the new rose from spring rains and soggy soil.

Beautiful roses gy2020! Easy to see you really love roses! I share your love but lack your knowledge.

Years ago, my grandfather had two lots, one where the house sat and the other was complete garden. It was gorgeous .. most of it being a rose bowl, surrounded by other flowers. He was really into grafting different types together.

There's just something about roses that makes one happy. I can't resist stopping to smell each one I come across.
