We don't have true favorites, but we what we have the most of are tulips, lilies and miniature roses. I bought several miniature roses a couple of years ago on a lark when some 3" pots were on sale at Menard's and now we probably have a dozen or so. Beautiful little 1"-2" blooms and fairly easy to care for.

I'm becoming a fan of sedums and agastache and have added several recently. I also like unusual plants, shrubs and trees. We have a Snow Fountains weeping cherry, a Harry Lauder's Walking Stick(Contorted Filbert) and a serpentine Louisa Mae crabapple that I rescued on clearance from a local nursery. I'm debating adding either a Weeping or Curly Locks willow in front to fill in the far end of a bed we just created.

Same here, nothing tastes better than a red ripe tomato straight out of the garden.

Tulips, roses, lupines, sweetpeas ..

Love to stop and admire and smell the roses whenever I pass by .. doesn't matter whose garden I'm walking by!

Sweetpeas, what a wonderful fragrance. But my all time favourite is the woodsy, earthy smell of the lupines. .. can't get enough! .. wish I could bottle it.

Used to rub lemon geranium onto my skin and into my hair for years loving that smell also.

Flowers! .. they make us so happy, don't they?

right now, i'm praying for shade, so my favorite growing thing(s) are the hybrid poplar trees on the west and south west side of my lot. i guess my true favorite though is some of the more valued yet slower growing trees (dawn redwood, red maple, sourwood, etc) we planted for the out years when the sprinters have to be cut down.

favorite flowers are gardenias and gladiolus.

favorite veggie by far is the Cherokee Purple tomato. we grow lots of different kinds but the flavor of this one is outstanding. interesting color too- sort of maroon on the outside and brilliant red when you cut it
