For moving shade MN native plants. (Bloodroot, trilliums, jack in the pulpit, wild clombine, bishops cap, wood poppy that sort of thing). This was orgionally a shade garden but a storm took out a large linden tree and now it gets full sun. Back when it was shaded I recently started a few years back growing shade natives on my parents land- mom said I can move them to where I'm moviong to but I have to cover up any holes.

We are moving in summer but the new place is within walkable disance from my current setup.

Its now March and the plants seem to be just coming up... so when/how should I move them.
