Here we go again!! If I see one more of those little purple flowers ... now I see dandelions sprouting up. Too much to spot treat on both. The grass has just been cut. What's the quickest way to get rid of these weeds?? Have tried the Scott's stuff in the past, not so good I guess. Thanks!!!

How are you using the TurfBuilder Weed Control? Are you applying to to dry grass or wet? Are you doing it just before it rains, or after? It should be applied in the morning, before the dew evaporates on a day when the temperature should reach at least 65 degrees and sunny. Otherwise, you're wasting your time and money. It should not be applied within 24 hours of rain or in the evenings.

It also doesn't contain a preemergent. It only kills actively growing weeds. And if your neighbors aren't treating their lawns for weeds, you're going to get the seeds in your lawn every year.

Thanks for respoding. I follow whatever the directives say. Either dry or wet, to the T. Good point about the neighbors!! Those adjacent to us, and across the street ALL have the awful henbit; actually except one.

We had great turf, been here about 4 years now. Started with a lawn care company, and magically we have weeds. I also assume that the weed seeds from other peoples yards cared for by the lawn service got to us.
