My husband and I were recently on a trip to Palm Springs and I saw the most beautiful tree there and I want to plant it in our yard in Phoenix, but I have no idea what kind of tree it is. Does anyone know what kind of tree this is?

It looks like it could be related to the desert willow, maybe one of the parent plants? I have a 'Bubba' Desert Willow, the blooms are pinky-purple on it, it's blooming right now. The plant, aside from the blooms, looks very much like the one pictured.
