As far as I can tell from my family tree, I am English and German. I may have Dutch as well depending on where I trace a couple of lines. My DNA hints to Anglo-Norse ancestry at some point as well as far as I can see. I am kind of new to all of this too. Also here is my FTDNA:

I guess essentially what I wanted to ask is what YOU guys think of my results. Do you feel that it matches what my family tree says? Do you feel that I have missed something due to what these results say? I feel pretty confident in my family tree but I want another opinion.

Mediterranean results seem a little high for someone with no known Mediterranean heritage but it's not hugely unusual considering how close that region is to the German/French region, and especially considering two different companies are telling you similar things. Trace amounts of West or South Asian is not unusual either. Remember that all it's really telling you is that this percentage of your DNA is most similar to the DNA found in a sample of people from that region. The only criteria for the people included in the sampling is that all four of their grandparents have to have been born in the same area.

I agree with you. I probably do have some Mediterranean somewhere that I have yet to locate in my family tree. This is standard oracle:

My FTDNA results are similar to yours as well, with no Southern Europe but more Western Europe.

Looks great! I think the both of us have Norse ancestors as well given that Danish is showing up repeatedly. My Scandinavian percentage on FTDNA confirms it for me. I am guessing Danelaw blood passed down from multiple ancestors with Anglo-Danish ancestry because I haven't found any Danes in my tree. Although it could have also been passed down more recently from my German ancestors. Hard to tell because Denmark is obviously right above Germany. I have Hanoverian heritage and Hanover is in Northern Germany. Danes and Northern Germans have a history of co-mingling.

Here is my K13. I know waviking24 from 23andMe. There has been some strange theories on my results as I'm Irish. There have been comments on the Amerindian and also about being Germanic. I really just think these results show old genetic components but it is beginning to make me wonder. I was born in Ireland with all Irish ancestry as far as I'm aware. I haven't fully researched my ancestry.
