i did a previous post for my uncle in this section...

are the anyother sites in the netherlands/holland were i can search for my uncle he may possibly still live there.... ive tried hyves and the white pages?

please help ? xx

If you want to find someone in Holland I suppose the best place would be to start where the birth records are stored. If you read this website wyou will better understand Holland. It appears that the coutnry is divided into two secoctions and the records are in Amsterdam or The Hague. You might as well make a pot of coffee and relax. It is a long process to find what you seek.

One other thing HiVee or Hi Vee is an American spelling. Do not be surpriced to learn Hyvee was probably once spelled Hijvee, and before that probably in Latin. The problem will be to find the area where the family came from.

Good Luck. I would contact the editor of the website and see if some one might be willing to assist you. Remember Engish is not necessarily a first langauage in Holland or the Low Countriesl
