does anyone have any information concerning Edward Fankhauser (br. Switzerland 1896-d. Ohio 1975)and wife Louise E. Fankhauser (Roth). born Aug 1899, d. 1962. Edward came to Ohio in 1923, not part of the Hans-Peter influx of Fankhausers in 1800's. Louise's family were from Amherst- Louis J. and Bertha Roth, Bertha's family- John Rolli and Elizbith Krige, both of Switzerland.

On ancestry.com, there's a WWII Draft Card, a SS Death Record and an Ohio Death Record for Edward. I think there's a 1930 Census for him and Louise but her name is misspelled. There's also an emmigration record (2 actually - same record but I assume one is a copy) but it's not in English. Sorry it took so long to respond to the info you were so kind to forward. Had to go back to Iraq for awhile. While I had most of this info, you have at least reassured me that I am on the right track.
