I agree. You have to keep pounding away at those brickwalls and eventually they WILL fall. Sometimes it helps to step back for a few days or weeks and then come back when you are fresh. I just broke an adoption case and surprisingly it only took me about 3 months. Not only do I have the client's actual record of birth, which lists the names of BOTH birth parents, but I also found the birth record of his half-brother, the birth mother's birth record, her parents and siblings, the client's maternal grandmother's obituary, AND I have sent emails to one of his maternal aunts and one of his maternal uncles. Looks like the mother is still living Just waiting to hear back from one of them. I am soooo nervous and excited! I hope this turns out positive for my client.

Looks like this adoption case is closed now. My client's maternal aunt contacted me back at 7:45 last night, we had a wonderful chat and then she asked me to give her phone number to my client, as she and her family were very excited to get to know him. Client phoned me back two hours after making contact with his aunt and was so happy that we were borh crying, LOL! Plus, he is going to meet his mom and the two younger brothers he never knew he had

I think Cyanna is mostly flufffy bunny, a little bit dogged genealogy warrior!

LOL! Yes, I can't help getting choked up with a nice reunion The case was pretty intense and I am feeling the tiredness today now that I am relaxing from the search. Plus, a number of the new found family members have emailed me or sent text messages
