I'm thinking if a connection isn't rated with 5 stars it's probably bogus. At least that's how it looked to me. On one connection on mine a child was born before her parent. Come on!

I suspect that the people who are contributing the garbage that clogs up the accuracy have never even attempted to look at a digitized record.

Hi Arkansas,

maybe i wasn't clear.

if your tree was connected to the database years ago, you are still connected.

if you just started a new tree, it will never connect you, whether you are related to anyone or not.

Thanks le roi, I did not know that. I did notice finding that Link is different than it was when I looked at it in the past. In fact, I had trouble finding it.

Where do you find this Famous Relatives Feature? Is it in the Family Trees section?

Family Tree, then your tree, then a surname in that tree, then more options, then find famous relatives.

I apologize for the double post. I'm having computer problems and it didn't look like the first post uploaded.

As far as accuracy goes on the famous relatives feature of old, I was pretty impressed as I had family data on my 9th G Grandfather that lined up perfectly.

Yesterday I came across one where the father was married to the wife of one of his sons, and she then gave birth to the son and married him!

If it were true, I would probably be thrilled to pieces with the notoriety of it all....unfortunately there are such things as public records....spoils everything.
