Thanks to three cousin marriages in the distant past, my father and I are also fifth cousins once removed (twice), eighth cousins twice removed, ninth cousins, ninth cousins twice removed, and tenth cousins!

That makes me and my brother also cousins several different ways.

My sons and I are cousins ...

My grand daughter and I are cousins ...

Anyone else noticed this?

Everyone has cousins marrying if they go back far enough in their family tree.

LOL Your Avatar and the lyrical synapses dialed up Elvis, go to 10:50 for title song

1964-Kissin' Cousins ( All the songs in the movie) - YouTube

Historically this was quite common amongst all peoples around the world and why the royalty throughout Europe was /is often *whacky* (excessive inbreeding)

It was also another reason, from an evolutionary anthropological, (as well as political) reason, why female members of tribes and slaves were exchanged to promote better gene distribution.

You should search out and listen to an old song, "I'm My Own Grandpa." You will appreciate it.

There were lots of cousin marriages in colonial New England.
