One of my sons 4th cousin matches on Ancestry tried to upload her moms UK file to GEDmatch it would not accept it. Is GEDmatch just a US site?
Her mom doesn't know who her father is; I suggested she try to upload there
Probably you are trying to upload an "old" version of Ancestry. I found the same problem with other site, it was rejecting my Ancestry file. I went back to Ancestry and downloaded the new "version" and it worked fine.

Thanks so much. Will ask her if she had the file saved or if she down loaded a fresh copy. My Heritage accepted it. My son had 3, 5th cousin matches there so I suggested she upload there too to see if we had the same matches.
Where is the North Eurasian Hunter Gatherer coming from? What Population has the highest amount?
I think they are Siberians. People from Siberia.
In my case, I am mostly European, but it shows some traces, 2.28 % and is because I have Native American ancestry, and Native Americans are related to Siberians.

"Ancient North Eurasian is an ancestral component now somewhat common in population genetics... It was originally discovered through the genome of a Siberian boy who died over 20,000 years ago referred to as either Mal'ta boy or MA-1 and was backed up as being a real entity in pre-historic Eurasia through other ancient genomes like that of Afontova Gora-2. As someone else posted, probably is related to the "Siberian" population. On other Eurogene models I ran (including Eurogene K13), I have Siberian and East Asian results. I wonder if the Siberian relates to Denisovan (which refers to Denisova Cave in southwest Siberia).
What is significant about having farmer or hunter/gatherer DNA?
