1. Human Race is a term that refers to all of humanity.

2. You obviously missed the point that I was making, but I guess that it's more important to you to make yourself feel superior.

Mexican isn't a race it's an ethnicity.

I think the official census calls you "two or more races". out of the six race categories,

So, according to you and your so called genealogist, someone that is 55% white and 45% black is automatically white, even though he identifies and feels more comfortable with his black side? Regardless of that, you got the guts to tell that person he is white?

You buggin' man

Never had a DNA test done....but wouldn't be surprised at all of my heritage....

Italian's from Southern Italy are very dark skinned b/c at one time, they inter-bred with Blacks...so their heritage would be mixed...

I find it all so interesting....bottom line is, you are who you are...regardless of what mixes we are...and we're all on a special journey that has been fine tuned specifically for our own purpose while here....so I don't believe it's our heritage that matters at all....what matters is, how much we give while we're here.
I ultimately agree with this.

However heres the problem I don't look like this mixture at all, most people think I am Italian, Spanish or arabic with my dark brown hair, tan skin, straight/wavy hair yet white features. So my question is what race do I go by now?

PS i forgot to add this to the poll but would i actually be considered hispanic? since hispanics are mixed of white, black and native?
Go by whatever you want.
wow

Mexican is actually a nationality, like American. She means "hispanic," I think. That is an ethnicity, but people commonly refer to it as a race. I think that may be because many hispanics are not caucasian (usu. having at least some Indian ancestry). The Spanish from Spain are caucasian, I believe.
