Yes the term white in the USA is very WASP-Centric. The more one diverges from a "WASP-Centric physical appearance" or culture than the less white/American one is perceived.

Way to generalize about an ethnicity.

And you really think it's just WASPs? Try going up to some Italians and ask them if they have done DNA tests to see how much African heritage they have.

And it is not rare at all to see DNA reveals by African-Americans on Youtube where they are expecting to see European results but very dismayed at how much. Not so much because it is a reminder of tge coersion involved in their ancestors' liaisons, but because they have a fantasy of 'Africanness" much like that which Europeans have of their own ancestry.

AncestryDNA does not give a percentage for Southern Italy - that is one of their genetic communities and genetic communities don't have percentages. So it's 50% Europe South, with a genetic community in Southern Italy. You may happen to know from your known ancestry that your Southern Europe results come entirely from your Italian or Southern Italian ancestry, but that's not what AncestryDNA is saying.

23andMe will provide haplogroups - mtDNA if you are female, and mtDNA and Y-DNA if you're male.

WASPS especially Southerners take the one drop rule BS to a different level a lot of them are weird about it. I'm very ethnic aware and have no intentions of ever integrating into their culture so I'm quite aware of what the WASP view on race is basically the further away one diverges from the stereo-typical "WASP phenotype" one is the less white or American one is viewed. Light pigmentation is preferred some melanin is tolerated but many are weird about people with some black heritage(even if there are no signs of a Negroid phenotype) I'm sure the history of the one drop rule likely played a part.

I recently watched a scientific report on Identical Twinning (or other identical multiple gestation's); and how the chromosomal parings are not always as exact as once thought. So sometimes one of the infants may not even be of the same gender (one may be intersex, gender indeterminate, externally appear opposite gender of other twin). So it may not be all the fault of the genetic testing. One of the twins may be getting more of some chromosomes than of others.

That is true. The only humans identical to each other are clones. And I don't think anyone is experimenting with human clones yet.
