when my mom died, my brother threw everything away that wasnt cold, green and spendable. so the family tree that went back to 1400, through family's bibles, gone for good

well, I got a dna match couple days ago, on my mother side, 1st cousin once removed. The tree is 1500 people and ( first cousin once removed is my mom sister, grandson) and very well detailed back to 1801

question: is there a way to combine the whole tree into my tree, its has my mom and all her family in it. with all the madian names, that side hard to follow?

its on Ancestrydna

You can use the "Save To Tree" option to save individuals and their immediate family from one tree to another, but there is no way to instantly combine an entire tree or even a whole branch in one go. And thankfully so, because then there would be even bigger problems with people blindly copying trees without verifying the facts and sources, which is what I would strongly urge you to do. If that side of your tree has been hard to research, you can't just assume what this person has in their tree is accurate.
