No she wasn't adopted. This was back in the 1950s, a child my father had with another (married?) woman before he married my mom.

It's entirely possible that if her mom was married, she didn't tell her husband or daughter the truth, so I'm treading carefully here. This is why I'm not going to put out data in public, have a big photo and sign around in Facebook. I don't want to ruin anyone's life! But if she does know, I'd love to talk with her, especially about some medical concerns.

This was info I found out entirely by accident, but I've confirmed it. So those are the two deep dark family secrets, LOL!

See how you make out with the DNA; then there are other ways to search if you know what state she was born in.

I've yet to find any family with the medical issues we have. That has been pretty important on my list

Hi, I'm from Romania; whoever told you that Romanians do not like to talk about families was wrong. I can't help you much but if you have questions or need translations you can ask. I am not from Transylvania but from the south part and I am Greek on my mother's side. I know I have relatives whom I don't know in Thessaloniki and your story inspired me to look for them.
