well, I agree. Sean Connery doesn't look british and Danny DeVito italian.

You should use a front face photo and the normal middle lighting and you'll get a right result. The algorithm gives me the right conclusion. Only 4% Hispanic.

I recommend this one, is very accurate. Just upload a face picture.

My cousin tried that and they claimed that she was (something like) 75% Italian and 25% Spanish. She is 100% German. Her mother came from Germany. Her/our Grandmother came from Germany. Her/our Great-Grandmother came from Germany. Her/our Great-Great Grandmother came from Germany and way, way, way back (long before the civil war) those original relatives all came from Germany. As far we can tell, every single ancestor was 100% German. 75% Italian and 25% Spanish??? Sheesh.

Ha ha...at least your cousin got some specific guesses on her ethnicity

When I uploaded the first picture of myself, it said "99 % White". I laughed about that and tried a different photo to see if anything else would come up. Nope, again it came out with the "99% White".

*sigh*

It's like a silly facebook quiz. Take it for what it is, a silly way for you to get connected to MyHeritage (which btw you can upload raw data to).

It's definitely a scam. There's no way one's ethnicity can be guessed by a picture. It's not like all people from XYZ country or ethnic group look alike.
