I'm looking for information about my great-great-great grandparents (native, find, search)

I'm trying to find information about my great-great-great grandparents Charlotte Goveia, and Francis Goveia who were born in the either in mid or late 1800's in British Guiana. I know they had a son Francis Goveia Jr who is my uncle but i would like to know their other children especially the name of my great-great grandfather born in 1903. Their birth records are in the Guyana. if anyone can help that would be great

Was his wife Augusta Drummond nee Goveia? He also had a daughter named Hermina Goveia married to Charles Fernandes

His wife’s naturalization papers are available at Ancestry.com - looks like she filed after his death.

Thanks for your efforts Francis Goveia Jr is my uncle and I know why he was travelling alone he was looking for my great-great grandfather is brother who ran away at 13 yrs.old. Also do you know who Francis Goveias' parents were?

Passenger lists don't include a spouse's name unless they are travelling with them (or sometimes if they are the one listed at their destination).

The naturalization records are for Augusta Goveia, nee Drummond, widow of Francis.

You would have to find a record that names them - usually a birth, marriage, or death record. Ancestry.com does not have any records from Guyana. FamilySearch appear to have some newspaper birth/marriage/death announcements from Georgetown, Guyana: https://www.familysearch.org/search/...Open=792101-50 - however, they have not been digitized yet, so you would have to visit the Family History Library in Salt Lake City to access them (or wait for them to be digitized).

But for civil records, you would likely have to write to the proper organization/department in Georgetown and order copies of records, if they are available: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en...l_Registration
