Just inherited a number of Family Tree Maker's Family Archives CDs. Are these CDs readable on the latest version of FTM by MacKiev?

Family Archive Viewer? It sounds like this was a plugin for Family Tree Maker that generated reports and charts from your tree in FTM. Current versions of FTM have it's own built in report/chart generating, and I can't find any info about Family Archive Viewer being currently produced, so no, I imagine it's no longer compatible with FTM. You can always contact MacKiev and ask though.

What I think you may have, though, are CDs of reference data. I seem to recall that IS WHAT those archive CDs are. here is one discussion, Scroll down a bit.
