so just like someone looks more like one parent than the other, they could inherit more DNA from a different piece of dirt from one parent than another? interesting but i guess it makes sense.

its not something im particularly interested in. for one, these companies all just send your DNA right to the government. next, i do not identify myself at all by any countries any of my previous family members may have lived.

No, we all inherit 50% (autosomal DNA) from each parent. But we don't inherit exactly 25% from each grandparent, or 12.5% from each great grandparent, etc.

That's absolutely not true. There's no proof or evidence of that, please don't spread such fear mongering misinformation.

OK I don't know how all this works so this is a serious question - Can WHICH 50 percent two siblings inherit differ? I think that's the big question.

Yes, if they inherited the same 50% from each parent, they'd be identical twins.

Yes... roughly speaking siblings will share about 45%-55% of DNA due to inheriting a different somewhat random combination of DNA.
