Some of us are waiting for the upcoming release of the 1921 UK census of England and Wales next week.
Here's what familysearch says:

"The 1921 Census of England and Wales will be released to the public January, 6 2022 through FindMyPast($)."

Find my past is a pay site. They do have a pay-as-you-go option though, instead of a monthly subscription. Makes some of us glad the US census is freely available, but the UK does things a bit differently and you do have to pay per downloaded page. You can search to find people, but if you want to view the page you have to pay either for a transcript $3.50 USD or it's $4.90 USD to see the original page from findmypast.com in the US.
findmypast will have control of the 1921 UK census for the first 3 years of its release:
Quote:
As The National Archives’ digitization partner, Findmypast will be the only genealogy website to offer access to the 1921 Census of England and Wales. This exclusivity will last for up to three years. During that time, Findmypast will be the only place online to search the 1921 Census, as well as view images and transcriptions of the records.

Ok, so there's that for those who want to know.
