I posted this question in the forum where I live and lots of people looked at it but I guess nobody knows what it is. Does anyone know here?

It's called a freelance genealogy detective. I read the blog and it was good. Have you ever heard of anything like this before? I'm not sure how to add a link to the site. It's www.freelancegenealogydetective.com

From the website you provided and reading the "about page", it seems that it's just a fancy name for a genealogist, that's all.

Basically, their business has have 4 different packages to choose from, $25 for 1 hour of research, $50 for 2 hours, $100 for 4 hours, and $200 for 10 hours.

Before I clicked on the link, I thought maybe it was a term for those genealogists that try and solve crimes by helping police department, by using the assailants DNA and running it through GEDmatch and creating family trees, for a fee of course!

It's a nice and slick website and if you have the money to spend and don't enjoy or want to do your family tree yourself, there are plenty of people out there that will help you out, for a fee of course.

That looks like a new website. I wouldn't pay them a dime when I can do it myself for free.

I saw a thread you made about EDS. Go on facebook, type in beyond the measurement. That is the best place to get support for EDS. There are many thousands of members from all over the world.

Thank you! I don't remember what I posted about EDS but I will definitely let my wife and daughter know about it.

You're welcome. There are many other Facebook groups for EDS and associated disorders, beyond the measurement is the best one. The people there should be able to tell your wife who and where the best doctors for them are.

We have a connective tissue disorder too. It used to be hard to get diagnosed but not as hard these days as back in 2011 when I found the Facebook group.
