Has anyone used any loading and unloading services? You know, the kind where they load everything into the truck, and then they load everything from the truck to the apartment? I'm just wondering what the best ones are?
I know with Uhaul when I was looking at trucks, you have the option to purchase the loading and unloading services which are about $130 at each location. But when I was looking at Pennske and Bundget... they didn't have the option to purchase the service. So I"m wondering if this is something thats only available with Uhaul? Or if they have a deal with Uhaul where its cheaper if you use a Uhaul truck? If thats the case then I'll go with Uhaul for my move. But I really wanted to use a Budget or Penske truck.
You can use most any local moving company to do that. Most provide that service in addition to hauling the stuff in a truck. I've used "Two Guys and a Truck" before and another one similar to that. You can rent a truck from whomever you choose and hire the labor from whomever you choose. Just try to find a place with a good reputation and employees who are bonded and/or insured.
