Hi everyone.. I am willing to move almost anywhere in continental usa, my savings is good, I'm a blue collar guy about to lose my job at an animal shelter in las vegas(been there 3 years now), looking for a place to move where I can get cheap rent(a room or a studio preferably in some downtown area) and get hired fairly easily, done almost every lower paying job there is! White male, just turned 40, look about 30, don't drive, I ride bicycles, no family to support(none alive but me actually), no pets, no debts whatsoever!! OPEN to any and all suggestions from small towns to big cities, just need rainfall, storms, etc.. After 10 years in the desert in vegas, I REALLY hate sunny days and too much extreme heat!! Replies from locals in the suggested places would be greatly appreciated, need some good ideas!! Thanks..

Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH. both are decent, cheap cities with decent paying jobs. Lots of surburbs making communiting easy.

Omaha Neb. Very low unemployment by todays standards.
Cleveland, OH (yes really) unemp there by some miracle is below national average.
OKC. Maybe the storms might be too big tho.

Note these places are much more boring (VS Vegas) too.

Maybe do a Google search for top ASPCA's in other cities that fit your requirements (storms, biking-friendly) as your name suggests you love animals and use bikes as your transportation....

One thought: the SPCA in Media PA is well-regarded and the Phila. area is very bicycle-friendly...

Well lots of cities in TN have fairly low rent. We also get our fair share of rain & storms. However you'll likely hate the summers & the humidity.

Augusta Georgia it is fairly bikeable and kind of cheap rents and jobs are plentiful . My cousins live there and they love it and Im thinking about moving there myself . Humidity and summers are kind of rough though .
