For ~700 miles I dont think that to bad. I would think it would be more. But then they need trucks there to go out of MI. I bet if you did the reverse trip it would be almost double that cost.

I had to google Grand Blanc - so for anyone else who doesn't know, it's a small town in Michigan...

D&D, that's a long way - 800 miles, according to Google Maps. So to me, $622 sounds pretty good for a truck rental.

Driving a fully loaded truck for that distance is going to take a lot of gas!

I would guess you are pulling one behind the truck. Just take your time, Most rental give you lots of time to get there.

One way rentals usually seem high because unlike day/mile rentals, one ways give you a greater allowence of miles and days as part of that rental. if the trip takes 4 days and is 2,000 miles, a one way may allow for 6 days and 2,600 miles in the price.

Between the truck rental and gas prices, it really is getting to the point where it's just better to sell almost everything and just back your car and maybe tow a trailer and go. It's gotten so expensive to move long distance.
