I somehow got myself in a hard situation. I got a job in another state but i don't have much money for more than the plane ticket. I don't have much to move i would take just a bag. I know there are homless shelters and food banks, is it worth it to move for a job if having to find a shelter like salvation army?

I don't the the goal of homeless shelters is to help people in your situation. Maybe you can save up some money, then make the move when you are financially able to do so?

What is the job you got in another state? Would there be a way to negotiate them paying for moving costs? What state to what state are you moving to? Since you are currently employed is this new job a better opportunity? Is the pay better? What about the new state what is the cost of living there compared to where you currently are? I know I am asking a lot of questions but these I feel are important.

No. People throw out, "stay in a shelter" like it is no problem.

Have you ever been homeless? Ever lived in a shelter? It is scary, dangerous, and filthy. You usually get lice, not a great way to keep a new job. There is no place for your "bag", so, what, are you going to take it to work every day while you ride the bus to work? Stuff it under your desk?

Not a plan. You at least need to have a car. Or more money. You obviously live some place now, so, get a job where you are.

Love people who think living in a shelter is an alternative. You would get rolled, beaten up the first night. People will beat you just because you act better than them, because you have a job. Or have new clothes. Homelessness is a whole new attitude. If you have never been there, you have no clue.
