I have two months. I have been cleaning out house since September, yet I still have so much. And I am entertaining for whole family this holiday season.
At least I put my piano, my Diningroom set and wood dog Hayes on Craigslist.
Tomorrow going to pick up some boxes and paper wrap and stat on china in hutch in Diningroom.
So stressed. I just don't know how I'm going to do this.

you will do it because you have no choice.
I didn't have 2 months. I had less than a month for a move from one coast to the other. Try the positive approach.........I can do this, because it IS happening.
Almost exactly two months to go for me. Today I took my third big van-load of stuff to Goodwill. Also went to Home Depot and bought a dolly/hand truck/whateveryoucallit thingy to move piles of boxes around. Also bought two rolls of packing paper and a half-dozen boxes at Home Depot. Then went back to my go-to place for free packing boxes -- behind the ABC liquor store -- and brought home several boxes from there.
My theory is that if I do something every day it will all work out perfectly. That's my theory, and I'm sticking with it, for now at least.
I only have 2 weeks left and I'm hardcore procrastinating! I just can't get into it. I'm slowly working on the kitchen, bedroom, and will tackle the walk in closet this week. I don't really have anything to get rid of, so it's a matter of having enough energy to bother boxing it all. Blah.
I went to Salvation Army today, and arranged for a pick up on Wednesday. They charge $25 for pick up. Well worth it to me! There is basically a full basement of stuff for them. My daughter is taking six boxes of food to the food bank. SO went thru his office, that is done. Tomorrow, bathroom, closets, finish kitchen, and finish garage.
Believe me, this is amazing. I was so overwhelmed two months ago, but bit by bit, this is happening.
I am 3.5 years out from moving (when I retire) and my goal for this year is to get rid of the old furniture that I do not use and will not take with me and to purge the kids toys and books....through the toddler stuff!
Last week I finally sold 3 pieces of furniture and this week sold 2 more...and now I have more space in the kids play room and an extra $2k!
The kids have finally started to sort their toys and weed out their baby toys, but they have a year to get the toddler and baby kids toys gone...they are now ten but pack rats!
am on the road...well was-at the hotel now Only got in about 500 miles today after a late start and a sleepless night. When I get too tired driving to keep my eyes open it's time to get a room.
So, I decided to empower my daughter with making those decisions for me. I let it all go. She is my new moving boss and coordinator. She thinks I had her just for having a moving slave, but she is great. She has decided I no longer cook or bake, true, but difficult for me to admit. She got rid of basically ALL baking pans, all cooking utensils, all stuff that is old, clutter, and if I want it, I should just buy new. Okay, she is the boss. I have given up my decision making to her.
A great relief. She is great. I am lucky. The rest of the horde will be here this weekend, to help their old Mum. I knew it was worth it to have kids!
I learned today, that there was more to do than I thought.
