We used UPack ABF to ship from Dallas to Florida. On the loading end, all went well. Trailer delivered and picked up with no major issues, fees was charged on credit card on the 1st of July. But then no call from the terminal. Called the number, got a sorry but unable to deliver due to a lack of ramps. Then called again today. There is a 'hold' on our trailer for no notification of payment from UPack. .?????! Seems a lack of 'communication' between UPack and the terminal. So instead of 4-6 days, it will be a 2 week delivery.

ARRRRGGGGGHHHH!

So, if using UPack, be sure to follow up to CONFIRM the arrival of the trailer at the terminal, receipt of payment confirmation with the carrier, and be pro-active as to delivery of the trailer.

Good advise. I used UPack to ship stuff from AZ to NY without a problem, but I can see how things could go wrong. And, when you move, you don't want things to go wrong!

If it was me, I sure would be contacting ABF about a credit to my account due to this delay (on their part).

Didn't use their storage facilities. Well, I guess I did, but I didn't plan to. LOL
