No. No it is not, unless you're selling a bunch of stuff up there, and buying replacements here.

20-22' is probably the minimum for a 3BR

PODS says 3-4 rooms in a 16 footer. So a 3 bed apt would probably be awful close unless you dump some stuff. Can you mark out an 8 x 16 space in your apt ? Kit & LR maybe ? 2 bedrooms maybe ? If so, imagine trying to pack everything in that space.

Or consider one of the "partial trailer" competitors to PODS; such as
ABF Upack http://www.upack.com/moving-services/moving-trailer.asp
Old Dominion OD Household Services - Home Moving Companies: Get a Free Estimate

You only pay for the space you use (by the foot, after a minimum)

Also, is it OK to park a POD (or trailer) at your apt ? or your destination ?

Good Luck......

For an apartment or a house? She asked about an apartment, which usually has much less room for stuff. It might be fine for a small 3 bedroom apartment.

No way it would be sufficient for a 3 bedroom house.

Figure 2 pods. Just realistic.

We ran the figures. Cheapest way is a Penske truck, hiring folk on each end to,load and unload. Next is to use ABF UPack truck. They bring a trailer in, charge only on the space you use. Again, you have to pay for people to load/unload. Pods were much more expensive.

Good luck.
