Your need for money/skills is general... not just about moving out of Mom's

Start with some of the remedial English you need (and probably some Math too)
Do that at the local Community College.

No you don't.

You may WANT to live on your own... but that ain't happening and probably not ever:
With Family --> With Friends --> With Girlfriend --> Etc.

Military, they offer job training and you will not be living with mom, try the coast guard if you want to stay local. Try a community college to get less expensive training. Try your state job corp. If your family is low income then you can get financial aid and grants that could help with room and board and tuition at a college. Your writing does not show a high level of educational development (not trying to be mean, just saying) so a 4 year college may be too hard for you succeed. Try the 2 year college program. Also your local 'unemployment' or 'workforce planning' office will likely have training for you. Look in the blue pages of your phone book.
