People from Ky (me included) where would pick to live so I can have some farm animals. Chickens, ducks, geese, pygmy goats and my security man to ward off any predators 2 or 4 legged? I would love a small barn and a small garden spot. I KNOW there has to be a Utopia in KY.....I have lived here all my life but in Jefferson County, and now in Fleming County. Someone said Frenchburg, know nothing about it. I want a nice Butcher Holler type working house with land. Thank you all. I know you know............

My offer has not been accepted yet and the USDA is VERY picky. There was a house I loved but it had massive oak limbs hanging over the roof so they did not pass that one. I am waiting and If they do not pass this one I am going to stay in KY and vacation in FL. In Ky I still have no room for chickens, etc.

Also, I was looking at foreclosures in FL and some of them would have taken so much money to repair that's all we would have been able to do is sit and repair, repair. One nice house, secluded but when we got there the neighbors had smelly Red Bone Coon Hounds baying at us and the heat and s--t smell was all we could smell. And I could just see me getting chickens, UUUUUMMMMM their favorite meal. Another one the roof leaked and USDA wil NOT repair it. It would be up to us to do that. on and on and on.......Trust me I gave it all I had for 6 weeks to find something but I still made time for myself and DH to have some fun just hanging around and watching the dolphin come up the canal at 7:30 each morning. I still have the option of finding something down there but I am waiting on the yes or the no........
