Would it be a good or bad idea to wrap books in smaller bundles before packing them in a box for shipping?
I was thinking that if I bundled them together by size, they wouldn't rub up against each other so much.

I'll be moving overseas, by ship.

Would using plastic wrap be bad? Would that increase the chance of mold?

If you want to wrap them I would use newsprint. It is the same paper used for newspapers but without the ink. We used it to pack book shipments at the publishing co. I used to work for. You can buy it at ULINE - Shipping Boxes, Shipping Supplies, Packaging Materials, Packing Supplies
