My family is moving to Phoenix Arizona from Los Angeles . My daughter is an artist and has over 650 paintings which are currently stored in closets. They are not stretch canvas (canvas board I think) and they are heavy. Does anyone know how to pack and or store this amount of paintings? I bought some cardboard boxes for the paintings they are 6 inches high but if I fill them they are too heavy to move. Don't know what to do now. Would a professional mover be able to help? Any suggestions?
Yes, a pro mover can help you. They have boxes that would accommodate your art. And they can pack far better than you can. I don't know if you want them to move the items, or just pack them, but I'd call a reputable mover and talk with them. Good luck.
One alternative: if she can part with any of them, you might try selling them online. That would also begin to get her name around.
