One of my co-workers took a leap of faith and moved to another state. I don't know that I've really and truly taken a leap of faith. Is this something that you can do more than once..how do you know if it's a once in a lifetime? I guess we'll never know if we don't try.
Not counting the time I decided to travel with carnivals.... and the military...
Let's see, I moved from TN to MS but not far and worked the same job. Then to CT, then to HI, then to GA, then to CT again. I'll make at least one more leap before it's all over with because, despite my love for CT, it's not retirement friendly. So what's that all together? Half a dozen?
If you find out a lot about where you're going and do your research, it's not so much about a leap of faith but more like a planned leap of faith. Much better way to do it.

"No risk, No reward".....Go for it.....I took a leap of faith as I moved from one state (Spent whole life there) to another. But don't be foolish. I had secured a job by doing a phone interview. Lets just say I count my blessings everyday, because friends/family thought I would be back after 1yr. Lets just say, its been 2 yrs since I moved and I never looked back. Job is going really well and its been a very positive impact on my life personally and socially.

The three big ones...
1. Quitting my job of 10 years in Los Angeles to move to Arkansas and buy a house with no job lined up.
2. Moving to Houston to be with my online boyfriend/husband.
3. Quitting my job in Houston to take care of my husband (a cancer patient) and moving back to LR.

Did it 3 times.....scary at times but, it was the right thing to do at the time....just have to realize realistic results when you do..
I have done leaps of faith in relationships, jobs and relocations. 2 fails, 5 wins
You didn't let the loses stop you!!! You kept trying until you got it right, this is fuel for me. Thanks.
