Moved to Portland from NYC in early 20s. Moved from Portland to Seattle at 35. Moving from Seattle to Raleigh next year at 47. Would love to move to Europe at least part time 10 years later. You only live once.

Relocated at 56 from Baltimore to Texas; only regret I hadn't done it decades sooner!

Nope, never too late for anything in life. My hubby and I just moved 3 months ago at 32 and 36 respectively. We are very happy with our decision. It was a big move too, over 1000 miles away. We both are no strangers to "big moves" though, since we were both born outside the US and came here in our childhoods. I believe in life, you have to do what works for you, and live where you WANT TO live. If you're unhappy where you are, or desire a different lifestyle, or have a great job opportunity elsewhere, and the conditions are right for you...why not move? Life is too short to live with regrets!

I've never thought relocation was something only young people typically do.
