Does U-Pack charge a fee for every cubicle they deliver? I live in a townhouse with 1 car garage and with a narrow driveway. Only 1 cubicle will fit. And there are no other spots I can use (parking is an issue in this complex and HOA said only 1 cubicle on the driveway at a time. Just wondering if anyone knew if U-pack charged a delivery fee per cubicle like I think they do? Yeah I'll call them when I need to but wanted quick information where I don't have to talk to anyone 😛 I'll need about 3-4 cubes.
Given the issue you have with parking, have you considered the option of loading either a trailer, or multiple cubes, at their terminal ? You would need move your stuff from the townhouse to the terminal via a local U-Haul truck.
This method is commonly used by folks going to or from an apartment building with NO parking.
Of course there will be total cost trade offs to consider.
I didn't think of that. Thank you for that idea. I'll look into that. It sounds like it could work but it will cost something and make U-Pack a tad less economical. It sounds like a good deal for us though considering we were going to hire a crew to load anyway and their fee included unloading too. And hiring U-Pack will still be much cheaper then hiring a regular long distance mover. The u-haul rental truck will cost close to $200 if I am remembering correctly from our last move. It's still not that bad and less then delivering each cube to our driveway, one by one, incurring fees for each drop off and pick up. That's a great idea! THANK YOU

In that case, perhaps the crew you choose could supply a truck of their own, at less added cost than a U-Haul ?
