I honestly don't like my storage unit management company. They don't provide a free dumpster, are now requiring a renter's liability type coverage and keep the storage unit like about a stagnant 80-85 degrees. This is very uncomfortable when moving things around in the unit. Does "climate control" mean a more comfortable temp than this? Years ago (early 2000s), I actually did have a unit where they provided free dumpster, although it was always filled up and no liability requirements. Is my storage unit condition one of those things that's typical these days?
Climate Controlled storage units keep items in a constant environment (temperatures between 55°F and 85°F). Climate controlled facilities usually manage both temperature and humidity. They use high quality HVAC systems (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), dehumidifiers, customizable thermostats and heavy-duty insulation to manage temperature and humidity. Since those thermostats are customizable, the temperature in your unit is set for you needs.
