Figure out how you can get rid of the furniture. A lot of second hand places don't pick up anymore, and if they do they can be REALLY picky about what they'll take. You might sell some stuff on Craigslist. Or you might even end up having to pay to have it hauled away. Start throwing stuff out in the regular trash gradually rather than filling up the bins right before you leave. Make plans for your health insurance in your new state.

I keep thinking of things.
You probably have a lot of jewelry. Pick out what you'll need for travel, then sort through the remaining pieces. Just keep what you absolutely love - and that might be all of it! Get assorted sizes of those food storage containers, sort any way you want. Small and easy to pack in boxes.
