I scheduled my pickup with montway on December 3rd for a December 17th pickup. I called to get a status and I’m told they are still looking for a carrier.

Is this normal? Or should I go with a different carrier

My husband went with https://number1autotransport.com/ for our upcoming move. Many good reviews, they are the carrier and he felt very comfortable after talking with them.

December? Are you saying you set this up six months ago and you're still waiting? I wouldn't have waited six weeks before changing, much less six months.

I meant June 2020.

Sounds like you're dealing with a broker, not the actual transport company ... which in most instances is a mistake.

Innercity transport and Reliable auto transport are two well-established & well-known transport companies that I and people I know have used ... generally for higher-end cars that were shipped by enclosed trailer)

Do not deal with a broker. you need to find a direct transport company
