You'll probably pay less to have it moved for you than you would if you spent the time, gas, lodging, and miles added to the vehicle driving it yourself.

That said, best to do some homework and find a company you feel comfortable using. Transport Reviews is a good place to start.

Some companies I would strongly consider are Hilton Auto Transport, AutoZipper, 1st Call Auto Haul, and Specialty Mobile Systems.

Good Luck.

My gf just moved here to Texas, and to have her Eagle Talon shipped from Va Beach to San Antonio was about 600 dollars. Only took a few days too, very quick.

I guess it depends. If you want to make a cross country drive, especially if you have never done so, it may be a good time to do so. In your savings/costs, you also have to figure in flying to your final destination and possibly having to rent a car until your car gets there. They usually give you a window of time to get it to you, could be a couple weeks till you get it

We used Dependable Auto Shippers, from Miami to Kansas and were very satisfied. A car and a truck.
Just follow the rules as far as having the vehicle empty, 1/4 tank gas, and do a thorough before and after inspection.
A recent quote from them for a SUV, from WA to GA was around $1000...
good luck, I wouldn't drive it unless I could take my time and see the country!

Is there a reason for you not to drive it?
