I just ordered three ReloCubes for a cross country move. Uhaul has a competing service but they cost 50% more and the boxes I was shown weren't as sturdy looking. I naturally chose ABF. My worry is that Uhaul won't let them drop off the containers outside my storage area. Or they might make me have to be on the premises to escort the truck in and out. Is there some sort of law stating that they have to let the ABF truck drop off and pick up the containers? I tried calling the Uhaul facility (I'm in another city) but all I get is an answering machine. Their current and past problems lead me to believe there will be drama involved with moving my stuff via ABF.

Don't know specifically Uhaul, but all self storage areas I've used don't let unattended non customers or crates inside. You can escort the company truck to your unit. They may let them drop it in front so long as they remain to move it if needed, and remove it when your done. I never seen crates or containers left sitting in front of the unit without them being activly loaded or unloaded.
To add, some places have a inside location where containers or crates can be dropped and stored but you have to move your stuff from the holding area to the unit yourself.
