my husband and i are moving to chicago in september, and the only thing i will miss from nyc is my job my company does not have jobs in my field in chicago unfortunately. has anyone done long distance job searches? when is a good time to start looking? alternately i may start temping just to have cash coming in and make connections and take it from there. i've done that a few times in nyc. does anyone have any recommendations of temp agencies to try? i know sometimes it helps to know someone to get a foot in the door.

incidentally, honestly one of the other main things i'll miss is brooklyn pizza lol. are there any good ny style pizza joints to try? i know this is laughable but my husband is italian and we're brooklynites and spoiled. i'd say i'll miss baseball, but the yankees are even more laughable this season!!
