May is designated ‘National Moving Month’ because it's historically the start of the traditional “moving season” in the U.S - the period when approximately 35 million Americans begin making plans to pack up their stuff and move it somewhere…somehow!

The problem is that most people relocate so infrequently they don’t know what criteria to use when shopping for local, intrastate, interstate, or international moving or storage service suppliers or products. In just a few short weeks the media will be filled with stories of folks who've been taken to the cleaners because of bad buying decisions or crooked operators.

By following the in-depth series of professional recommendations and industry resources included in the link below, interested readers can research the best options to consider when making their local or long distance moving or storage relocation plans and, hopefully, avoid being ripped off by unscrupulous shysters!

Don’t forget! May is ‘National Moving Month’
