Hello, I was looking on here to get some info as to what state and city would be the best for entry level it jobs. I have an associate in computer networking, and no certifications yet. I know that with this economy, things are a lot harder too. I have family in both georgia and texas, but I would have more help and support from my family in georgia. So any help would be appreciated as to what state would be the best for me to get my it career started. I am open to other us cities, but would prefer georgia or texas.

Dallas probably. I wouldn't count on making anything over $11-12 an hour though starting out. Times are though & people have been laid off right & left, even here in Texas where the economy is supposedly much stronger.

Thanks for the info, I am okay with making $11 to $12 dollars an hour, as long as I am working in my field, and finally getting some experience. That is the hardest thing now, is just breaking in my field here where I stay now.
